Determining the Length of the Tribulation
For me, how the books of Daniel and Revelation as well as Matthew Chapter 24 tie together, verify that the Bible is accurate, and the divine word of God. As a person who loves mathematics, I prefer to look at the mathematics first to see if the numbers and calculations agree. The best place to begin is in Revelation 11:2 which states "...for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months". Now 42 months is approximately 1260 days (i.e. 42 x 30 = 1260). This number is verified in Revelation 13:5, "and power was given unto him [the beast] to continue forty and two months". When you combine the information from Revelation 11:2 and Revelation 13:5, it can be deduced that the duration of one-half of the tribulation will be 1260 days or approximately 3 and 1/2 years. Therefore, the duration of the tribulation is determined to be 7 years or 2520 days.
Other countries
Other countries have different cultures and different morals. For example, in one country it may be considered socially acceptable to mask your identity on line but in other countries this may not be acceptable. Because morals differ among the countries of the world extradition and capture of Internet criminals is difficult if not impossible. So, not only are Internet criminals hiding behind their bogus profile, they are hiding behind the different laws of the country in which they reside.
